Star City...
My aunt (my mom's elder sister) is in the hospital right now...
So his son (my cousin) and he's 2 daughters are staying here with us...
Last night we went to Star City, an amusement park in Manila...
We bought the ride all you can package...
Once again, I felt like a kid...
Me and my nieces, Raina and Alecs, rode almost all the rides...
We rode the mini-rollercoasters, viking, flying carpet, ferris wheel, wild river and many others (forgot the names)...
The one I enjoyed the most is the flying carpet...
I like the feeling of free fall...
The scariest one would be the wild river...
It does not have a seat belt so it's really scared and prone to accident...
The only part I liked in wild river is getting wet...^_^
I felt that I'm becoming more of an adult now...
I wasn't nervous at all when riding the rides...
Before, my parents and brothers has to drag me just to ride them...
Now, I feel at ease and actually enjoy riding them...
The only problem is that my stomach does not like them...
I felt sick after two rides...
But I did not mind it last night because I want my nieces to enjoy the rides...
They won't be able to ride if there's no adult accompanying them...
After the rides, we ate our dinner and played games...
The token is expensive so the games we played were limited...
We didn't win even once...
Such a waste of money...
Not to mention the games were not really fun...
I enjoyed being with my nieces...
They were so cute and adorable...
It's my first time to really hang out with them...
Being deprived of sleep and rest was worth it...
Nothing Much...
I just had the my typical Friday today...
I slept in my parents room again last night because my cousin and her 2 daughters are staying with us...
I had an experiment in my chemistry lab class which I totally fail...
It should have been an easy one but we had to repeat it...
I totally suck at titrations...
Controlling the flow of the titrate is really hard for me...
The cooperation of my group is still the same as last week...
One of my members still did not help...
He even arrived 2 hours late and we were already finished with the experiment...
I made a lot of mistakes in the calculations part...
I know it's my fault but I was not really paying attention into it...
I was so sleepy because I only had 2 hours of sleep...
I was feeling tired and sore because we went to the amusement park with my nieces...
(I'll talk about this in my next post)
And I was still feeling a little sick...
But at least we finished the experiment properly and we weren't the only group who made mistakes...
After my class, I finally gathered the courage to ask my school about the exchange student program...
I was getting nervous all by myself...
Then, I asked the customer service and they said that it's allowed...
So they told me to go to the office for scholarships and financial assistance...
Unfortunately, the person who handles these matters was not present, only his staff was there...
The staff said it's the first time she has heard of it so she has to confirm first...
And so I left my name, student number and contact number with her...
She said to prepare the necessary documents, just in case, it's possible...
When I left the office...
I felt like a thorn have been pulled out of my chest...
I felt relieved...
Now, I just have to hope that it's possible and I will be chosen...
By the way, the university that has an exchange agreement with my school is Waseda University...^_^

Special Post about my Friends (part 2)...
Back row (from left to right): Keziah, Allan, Francis
Front row (left to right): Shid, Nald, Kat, me, Toni
Not in picture: Paul
Left side of table (front to back): Keziah, Shid, Allan, Toni
End of table: Paul (left), Francis (right)
Right side of the table (front to back): Kat, Nald
This is the part 2 of cute_maya's request...
They are my friends when I entered college..
We were block mates for a term...
First is my very first college friend and best friend, Keziah...
Although she's not the youngest in the group...
She's considered the baby because of her small stature...
She cries easily and she's so adorable...
I like looking out and taking care of her just like a baby sister...
Second is Toni...
We're not that close compared to Keziah but we get along well...
We've just started hanging out about a year ago when our break times are the same...
We would meet after our classes, eat lunch together and chat...
Third is Kat...
She's the one whom I hang out the most these days...
We always go to a movie, chat and window shop...
At first, I wasn't really fond of her...
I didn't like her attitude and character...
She has this "do what I want to do" attitude...
But as time passes by, I got to know her more...
And I started to like her...
Fourth is Jeck...
She's not in the picture because she wasn't able to join our trip...
She is the crazy one in the group...
I remember, when we first met here...
We though she was the quiet, shy type...
But later on her true colors showed...
She is so talkative and very cheerful...
She makes us laugh...
Fifth is Allan...
He's the smart and hard working one...
He's also thoughtful and responsible...
He would take care of us girls when we get together...
Out of my guy friends, he's the best one I like...
Actually, I have a slight crush on me and he knows that...
I admire how we takes care of his family and balances it with school...
Sixth is Shid, the smallest but the most handsome of the boys...
He is Allan's bestfriend...
They are always together...
He is the quiet one in the group...
But sometimes, he seeks too much attention that Allan gets annoyed...
Seventh is Nald...
Most of the time, he is quiet...
But there are times when he suddenly cracks a joke...
He's into badminton so much that he plays almost everyday...
He won't stop even if he's body hurts...
He tends to talk about serious things when alcohol gets into him...
Eighth is Paul...
He is the artist of the group...
He shifted from Computer Engineering to Multimedia Arts and Sciences which is really his interest...
He is really good and drawing and he also like designing clothes...
He likes romantic movies, a romanticist and loves his girl friend so much...
Which is also my good friend, Toni...
Last is Francis...
Out of all my guy friends, he's probably the one I'm closest with...
Although I haven't seen him for ages...
He's a very very lazy person when it comes to school...
He's been taking the same classes for 3 terms now...
He fails not because of his brain...
But because he does not go to class...
He's actually a smart person...
If only he would attend his classes, I'm sure he'll be able to pass...
He also loves to tease and make other people cry...
These are the people I usually hang out with...
I'm looking forward for another trip this coming summer...

Movie with Kat...
I hang out with my friend, Kat, today...
I don't have class so I waited for her to finish her class...
It's been a long time since we saw each other so I was quite excited...
We watched the movie "High School Musical 3"...
We were right on time for the 3:40 pm show...
We enjoyed the movie so much...
I'm really glad we watched it...
We were feeling hungry so we looked for a restaurant...
Kat wanted to eat in a "rice all you can" restaurant so we looked for the japanese restaurant called "Tokyo Tokyo"...
But we can't find it so we just settled with "Shakeys Pizza"...
Instead of rice, we ate pasta and pizza...
After eating, she said she wanted to buy a new pair of shoes...
So we went to the department store...
After looking around for a bit, she didn't like any of the shoes there...
And so we left...
Next, we went to the bookstore...
She found a book she liked so she bought it...
And then we went home...
I feel really happy seeing one of my friends in a long time...
We haven't hang out since last term because she got sick...
Being with my friends cheers me up...

Special Post about my Friends (part 1)...
Due to cute_maya's request, I'm having this special post about my friends...
If you're not interested, please just ignore this...
I have lots of friends in my school so let's start with the friends I talked about in yesterday's post...
I met them about a year ago when I changed my major...
Since then, we've been classmates in major subjects...
First is Lean...
She was absent last Saturday so she missed a lot...
The two of us are the only girls in class so she's the one I'm closest with...
She lives in a dorm near our school because she's from the province...
She's such a nice and sweet girl...
Even though we are of the same age, she calls me "ate" which means older sister...
Matthew is the guy I'm closest in class...
We started to get closer when he asked me to help him with our lessons...
He would always help and accompany me in borrowing the LCD projector...
Even though he lives pretty far from our school, he's always early...
He's a smart person...
And he loves his girlfriend so much...
Christian is also a shiftee like me so he knows what I'm going through right now, repeating the subjects that weren't credited...
He into giving side comments during classes that we find funny...
But our professors completely ignores them...
He was the one who kept insisting that we eat in that cafeteria so that I can taste the food there...
He's also the one who feels most sleepy in our Saturday classes...
Dexter is also a shiftee and he's older than the rest of us for about 2 years...
He likes to argue about everything and anyone...
But his favorite argue partner is Christian...
He also likes to tell jokes...
Unfortunately, they're really lame...
Not funny at all :D...
Whenever we do an experiment, he's the only one who is sitting...
Does not do anything at all and keeps ordering us around...
Well, we don't get mad because we know it's just a joke and it's entertaining...
Last is Don-don...
He is the joker of the group...
At first, he's a quiet person...
But once you get to know him, he's so much fun to be with...
He's jokes are really funny...
He also lives in a dorm, like Lean...
He's an obedient and hard working person...
He likes doing experiments...
We don't even need to tell him...
He'll gladly do it by himself while telling us his jokes...
This term, their my classmates in my 3 lecture classes every Saturday...
It's from 730 am til 9 pm...
So I spend a lot of time with them...
We would eat together during lunchtime and even after class...
I enjoy being with them...
We are always laughing and there's no dull moment...
I'll talk about my other friends in next posts...
So please look forward to it...

Cooperation in a group is important...
Today was another chemistry laboratory day...
We finished early because our group's cooperation improved a LOT...
Being absent for one experiment really changed our group except for one member...
Maybe they learned not to rely much and how I'm having a hard time doing everything during experiments...
One of my group mates, Valerie, was more entertaining than annoying today...
She used to just sit down and wait for the results...
She was the one I'm referring to in "She keeps telling me to just tell her if I need something...
But when I ask her to do something, she keeps giving me the feeling that she doesn't want to..." which was in my previous post...
Today, she even volunteered to help and do the first part but with my supervision...
She said she enjoyed doing the experiment when I wasn't around...
Anyway, as soon as we finished I went home...
While on my way, I saw a food stall selling siomai...
Yes, food again, and I bought 2 orders of pork and shrimp siomai and 2 orders of japanese siomai...
When I got home, my mom was glad that I brought food and it was our lunch...
Her happiness was just priceless...
I'll write my final report now which is due on Friday...
Tomorrow I'll be watching a movie with my friend, Kat...
It's been a long time since we hang out so I'm looking forward tomorrow...
Today is the birthday of my 2 guy friends...
First is my former blockmate and close friend, Ronald...
Happy Happy Birthday, Nald ^_^
Second is my guy best friend...
Although we haven't seen each other in person since high school graduation, it didn't feel like it...
When we started mailing each other again recently, I was so happy that you still consider me as your best friend so...
Happy Happy Birthday Best James ^_^
P.S. I'm kinda sad, crushed and heartbroken today...
But I'd rather don't want to talk about it...
Don't even want to remember...

Hanging Out...
I was tired yesterday when I got home so I wasn't able to update...
Anyway, here's what happened yesterday...
My cellphone alarm did not went off AGAIN yesterday...
I was an hour late of my waking time...
I was supposed to wake up at 5 am...
Good thing, my mom noticed that I'm still in bed and she woke me up...
It was already 6 am...
(I'm sleeping on my parents' rooms' floor because we have a visitor who's sleeping in my bed...It's my aunt actually...)
I hurriedly fixed my bed, ate breakfast, brushed my teeth, took a bath and put on my clothes...
Good thing, it's a Saturday and I don't have to commute to school...
My parents are sending me by car and it will only take about 30 minutes for me to arrive school...
I arrived exactly at 730...
My professor hasn't arrived yet, as well as my classmates...
I was the second one to arrive...
I was kinda panicking because I was assigned to borrow a LCD projector and I though I was going to be late...
So me and my classmate, Matthew, borrowed it and when we got back our professor has arrived...
We set-up the laptop and projector and wth, it's not working...
So we asked for assistance...
In the end, we weren't able to use the projector...
Grrr...it gave us such a hard time...
My professor looks kinda pissed...
But he's such a nice guy that he didn't get it to him and keeps on smiling throughout the lecture...
We had a quiz in my first subject and I think I did well in it...
It was an essay type with question being explain this and that...
There's even a question where I have we have to draw a diagram and mine was horrible...
I really suck at drawing...
I wonder if my professor understood it...
My professor was an hour late so I was able to review...
I was not really sure if we have a quiz or not...
Just to be sure, we prepared...
When our professor, she requested for use to give her at 15 minutes for she has to finish something and use that time to study because we have a short quiz...
So we did...
The quiz was 3 questions only but again, it's explain this and that...
Essay...
After the quiz, we proceeded with the lecture...
Oh and we got a new equipment...
It's called Mic-D, a digital microscope...
Hopefully, we could use it by next meeting...
For our last class, we had a problem with the LCD projector again so we weren't able to use it...
We only had our usual kinda boring lecture...
I was so sleepy but I fought with it...
We were dismissed earlier by our professor so I mailed my parents so that they can fetch me...
My classmates which are 4 boys were going to eat dinner so they asked if I want to come...
My parents were still far so I went with them...
They brought me to the cafeteria (not in our school) that they were talking about the whole day...
They wanted me to try the food there because the food is really delicious and serving is big...
Unfortunately, the cafeteria was already closed...
It closes at 7 pm and it's already 7:05 pm...
We were 5 minutes late...
Talk about being late AGAIN...
Anyway, we had no other choice but to eat in the eatery called "Rockerz" where they only serve sizzling plates...
The food was delicious and I had so much fun...
It was my first time to really hang out with them...
We've always been classmates every term but we would go our separate ways once class is over...
They were talking about our other classmate, Lean, who was absent that day that she's like a mother...
When they ate last Thursday, she would distribute the glasses, spoons and forks and ask if there's anything else they like or need...
Wonder if they want me to serve them too...
My parents still haven't arrived after we eat so we decided to cool down first...
We went to the billiards shop near the eatery...
Just when my two friends started playing...
My mom mailed me that they have arrived...
It was pretty dark so I asked my other friend to accompany me to the car and so he did...
My parents hasn't eaten dinner so went to a restaurant where the food is really good...
Ugh, I shouldn't have eaten first...
In the end, I just ate wanton dumplings and almond jelly with mango for dessert while they were savoring their noodles with soup...
After eating, we went straight home...
And that was my day yesterday...
It was such a long day but I had so much fun...
Anyway, here's what happened yesterday...

Ordinary Day...
This morning I woke up pretty late...
My cellphone alarm did not went off...
Good thing my mom noticed that I was still at bed so she woke me up...
It was already 5:15 am...
I'm 15 minutes late of my waking time...
I hurriedly fixed my bed, ate breakfast, brushed my teeth, took a bath, put on my clothes and went to school...
I arrived exactly 730 in our room...
I was surprised that only two of my classmates are there...
Where the hell are the others?
Even my professor isn't there yet...
They arrived at 8 am...
They were 30 minutes late...
And it was so hot in the laboratory...
Not to mention that the moment my group mates arrived, they were immediately asking for my lab report...
On the bright side, I was glad to happy that they did good when I was away last Monday...
The member of the other group told me that 3 of my members took charge and did the experiment...
However, still the other one did not do anything...
So it kinda disappointed me...
We only had dry lab for today...
It's about chemical equilibria of reversible reactions...
We changed to a lecture room this time which has an air conditioner...
My professor gave us a short lecture , example, then exercises...
As usual, my paper was copied by the others...
I don't mind anymore...
I was able to answer all of the question except for one...
It was really hard...
I couldn't understand it even if my classmate already asked our professor how to do it...
So I gave up midway...
I have a quiz tomorrow again so I have to study now...
That's it for today...
Ja ne...
P.S. I already got some of my results in chemistry lab...
Experiment 1 - 69/100
Experiment 2 - 79/100
Exercise 1 - 45/60
Exercise 2 - 78/80
Quiz 1 - 80/100
The passing is 70% so you might think that my scores are low...
I even failed one experiment by one point...
But these scores are the highest in our class...
But getting even 60% in my school is really hard...
Many students are just aiming to pass the subject bur few are really able to pass...
My cellphone alarm did not went off...
Good thing my mom noticed that I was still at bed so she woke me up...

Baguio Trip...
It's been 3 days since I updated here...
It's because we went for a trip...
We arrived in Baguio around 11 in the morning last Sunday...
I was tired and I haven't had a decent sleep so the moment we reached our hotel room, I slept immediately...
My mom woke me up around 2 to take a bath...
Before going to the mass, we looked for a salon first because we need someone to do our hair and make up...
There's hardly any beauty salon there but in the end we found one...
Then, we proceeded to the church...
The mass for 4 o'clock has just started when we arrived Baguio Cathedral...
After the mass, we went to SM Baguio for dinner...
We ate at Mann Han for chinese food...
Finally I learned how to eat using chopsticks...
My dad taught me...
I still need more practice to be able to use them...
My mom has a half-sister living there so we tried searching for her house...
It's been 20 years since the last time they saw each other...
Actually I haven't seen her so I was excited to finally meet her...
After almost an hour, we finally found the right house...
We stayed there for about an hour...
They weren't as excited as I am when we saw each other so I was kinda sad...
But I guess it's okay...
It's the first meeting anyway...
Before going back to the hotel, we passed by the bride's cottage in Baguio Country Club...
We went to Baguio for the wedding the next day, by the way...
My brother, Rei is the wedding coordinator so they had to talk about the final touches for the wedding...
The wedding gown was so beautiful...
It's a bit overdecorated but it's really pretty...
Then, we went back to the hotel to have a good night's rest...
My mom woke me up again around 5 in the morning, took a bath and ate breakfast...
Then, my make up and hair was done by the make up artist...
The wedding is at 9 and we arrived around 830...
The wedding proceeded as planned but it was kinda disappointing...
It's not as beautiful as I expected it to be...
I feel like the bride's hard work was put into waste...
The reception at the Baguio Country Club after the wedding was not good too...
Well, the food was great, it's in buffet style but it wasn't that organized...
A wedding entourage was supposed to take place in the reception so we all lined up...
The host started calling the names of the entourage even if the the newly weds has not arrived yet...
What the hell was that...
Even the names of the entourage were wrong, they were not in order...
It resulted in entering the reception hall while you're being called by a different name...
And we don't even have a reserved seats so I ended standing for about 15 minutes pretending to wait for my brother...
I have to wait for the additional table to be set up...
It's sooo frustrating...
In the wedding program, there's a part where the couple dances and the guests will pin money in them...
It's like a tradition in the Philippines...
I can't believe the host translated it into "DOLLAR DANCE"...
Just because the groom's family and friends came from America does not mean that you have to call it "dollar dance"...
He made it look like we are so into money...
It's really embarrassing...
Besides, the dance should be done at the very end of the wedding program...
Not at the start right after eating...
And the souvenirs were also distributed right after eating...
The tendency for the guests who have eaten and got their souvenirs is t go home...
It's like they already got what they want...
As for us, we weren't really planning to finish the reception because we still have somewhere to go...
So we left early...
Good thing, as we were going out of the hall...
The bridesmaids were being called for the catching of the bouquet...
And I really really really don't want to participate...
The day is already bad for me and I don't want to make it worse...
I ran to the toilet as an excuse, pretending I need to use it first before leaving...
I think we were the first guests to leave...
We went back to the hotel, changed into casual clothes and off to our sight seeing spree...
Unfortunately, it rained very hard and it's already getting dark...
The only place we were able to visit was PMA (Philippine Military Academy)...
We only went to the museum, took some pictures and bought souvenirs...
Then, we had our dinner at Shakey's in SM again...
While going back to the hotel, we passed by the street where there are a lot of ukay-ukay...
My brother wanted to go shopping there so we went...
My brother wasn't able to buy anything...
Instead, I was able buy shoes and earrings...
The next morning I woke up to my parents noises...
They were preparing to go to the public market to buy fresh vegetables...
Parking lot is hard in the market so they went there in jeepney instead...
They returned around 7 and then we ha our breakfast, packed our things and checked out the hotel around 9 am...
My brother wants to buy another shirt, so we went back to PMA before going back to Manila...
While on the trip, my mom said she wanted to pass by the Our Lady of Manaoag Shrine...
It's still early so we passed by there...
We bought rosaries and other religious items...
Fortunately, we're just in time for the blessing and we had the things we bought blessed...
It was a fruitful experience...
We arrived in Manila last night around 8 pm...
I had so much fun in Baguio...
It was my first time living in a hotel...
Second time in Baguio...
First time to go on a trip with my family (except for my other brother who wasn't able to go)...
My dad said next time, we'll go there purely for vacation...
I can't wait for that next time...
I hope it'll be soon...

Fail...
I'm too lazy to think right now but I really wanted to update...
Today I had so much fun in school although I'm really drained right now...
My classmates and I were chatting and laughing the whole day...
I learned a LOT from my professors...
From purifying a silicon to wafer fabrication...
From crystal structures to optical properties of materials...
From doped semiconductors to how a television works...
I'm really glad I'm in those classes...
I had an exam in my first class...
And I did bad at it...
I know all the answers but I did so many stupid mistakes...
I got all confused and and drew that silicon have 7 valence electrons which it only has four...
Which had a domino effect on the other questions...
So it resulted into a major fail...
I really don't want to know my score...
I'll just do better in the next exam...
We'll be leaving for our Baguio trip in about an hour...
My dad just arrived from Indonesia so he's packing only now...
I feel so tired and sleepy right now but I can't rest anymore...
I'll just sleep on the car...
That's it for today...
bye bye...

Make up Experiment...
I only had a long exam in my chemistry laboratory class...
I think I did well...
I studied really hard for it...
Besides the multiple choice part is very easy...
I think I got an almost perfect score in that part...
As for the problem solving, I guess I got a good score too...
I was able to solve all the problems...
Good thing I'm really good at computations...
I'm attending a wedding on Monday so I'll be absent from class...
I had to make up for the experiment for Monday...
Actually, I did the experiment in advance...
Luckily, there are still other classes who were scheduled to do it today so I was able to join them...
Well, it was pretty easy and short anyway...
Just have to mix some chemicals and observe the color change...
I did not eat lunch today...
Well, it was my fault that I got really hungry anyway...
My morning class is 730...
We only had our exam so we finished about 930...
And my make up experiment is at 12 noon...
I know I should have eaten my lunch during that break but I didn't...
I'm being my stupid and lazy self again...
The laboratories are in the 4th floor and the cafeteria is in the 1st floor...
They are on different buildings but the buildings are connected to each other...
I was too lazy to go up and down the stairs to buy food...
So I just drank water...
Besides I'm having so much fun chatting with my underclassmen...
It's kinda rude to just leave them, right?
Anyway, I had to go to mall first before heading home because I had to buy something...
Then, I suddenly felt dizzy...
That' s when I realized I'm really really hungry...
Still, I'm torn between saving my money and just eat at home which will took some time because I still have to cook or just dine in a fast food in the mall...
Being stupid or rather stubborn again...
In the end, I chose dining in KFC, ate my favorite meal, bought the things I need then went home...
Our Baguio trip is just one sleep away...
I've already packed my things and I'm ready to go...
Unfortunately, still have class tomorrow, all day, from 730 in the morning till 9 in the evening...
Maybe we'll leave around 2 or 3 in the morning on Sunday...
Not yet sure...
My dad is still tired at that time cause he'll just be arriving Saturday afternoon from Indonesia...
But he already booked the hotel for Sunday and Monday night...
We'll be staying in a really nice hotel...
Actually, I've been dreaming of staying in that hotel for like 8 years now, since the first time I saw that hotel when we went to Baguio 8 years ago...
So I was surprised when my dad that we'll be staying there...
However, my brother who's not joining our trip is scaring me that there are a lot ghosts in that hotel...
Well, Baguio City is really known for having those kind of things...
But I'm not scared...
I don't really have the ability to see them, even just to sense them...
I'm quite insensitive regarding those things...
I'll just enjoy my trip, take a lot of pictures and go shopping...
I think I did well...

My Little Masterpiece...
It's just another ordinary, boring day...
No classes so I'll continue with my research and study for my exam on Friday...
The trip to Baguio is getting nearer...
We're attending a wedding so of course a gift is needed...
I wrapped our gift earlier and this is what it looked like...
I'm quite proud of it...
It's different from the usual gift wrapping...
Actually, it's one of my skills...
And I can say I'm good at it...
I'm pretty creative when it comes to things like this...
I always get a perfect score for my portfolios in school because I design them like this...
So my professors think that I'm giving effort...
For me, it's not really effort because I enjoy doing these...
The materials are expensive...
But it can't be compared to the satisfaction I fee and the high grade...
Just wanna share my little masterpiece...

Nothing Special...
Finally I've started writing my research paper...
I'm quite enjoying it...
Reading all those articles about substrate materials...
It's not due until next week but if I can, i want to finish it by this week...
It's still raining today and it's pretty cold...
The rain gave me and my mom a hard time...
We went to the mall today for our gown fitting...
We'll be attending our family friend's wedding on Monday...
My parents are godparents and I'll be a bridesmaid...
I'm excited because it's in Baguio City...
It's only y second time there and we'll get to live in a hotel...
We'll be staying there for 3 days and 2 nights...
Good thing I don't have class on Tuesdays but I'll be absent on Monday...
I'll just talk to my professor about it...
My dad is leaving tomorrow for a business trip so I'm a bit sad...
He'll go to Indonesia and Singapore for 3 day trip...
He'll be back on Saturday...
That's it for the day...
I'll continue with my research...

Just Passing by...
It's a rainy day today and I made a mistake wearing a white shoes...
It got dirty and I'll have a hard time cleaning it...
I had chemistry laboratory class this morning and we only had dry lab...
My professor was absent so she asked someone to substitute for her...
We discussed about chemical kinetics...
And as usual, my classmates again copied my answers...
I was sooo pissed off but I can't get angry...
I'm the type of person who would rather keep quiet than tell them what I don't like and make it into an argument...
I don't like wasting my energy telling them off because it won't have any effect on them...
It's much easier to just let them copy...
It's just an exercise anyway...
Besides, I believe in karma and it's their loss for not learning anything...
We finished early so I went to the mall by myself...
I bought a SD memory card for our digital camera and CD my mom wanted...
I also ate my lunch there...
It was lonely eating alone with no one to talk to...
I should have just waited for my bestfriend's class to finish...
I was so sleepy when I got home...
I only had 2 hours of sleep...
I went to bed around 1 am but for some reason, I can't sleep...
I've been tossing around my bed for 2 hours...
I was finally able to sleep probably around 3 am...
But I have to wake up at 5 am for my 730 class...
Ugh, I really hate mornings...
I can now formally start writing my paper on substrates due 2 weeks from now...
Thanks to my professor, I already have a clear understanding of my topic...
Just need to do a few more searches...

Today is a Sunday so it's my rest day...
But I wasn't expecting to wake up at 2 pm...
I slept around 2 this morning so I slept for 12 hours straight...
This is my first time sleeping for such a long time...
Maybe because I was so tired yesterday...
I had class from 730 am to 6 pm straight...
I was late for my 730 class...
The train broke down so I had to take the jeepney...
The 15 minutes ride using the train became a 45 minutes ride using the jeepney...
I was worried because my professor really arrives early in school...
And he asked me to borrow a LCD projector for our discussion...
So I mailed him that I'll be late and asked my other classmates to borrow for me...
I arrived at school around 7:45...
Luckily, they haven't started yet...
My subject was Semiconductor Materials and Processes...
I learned a lot...
I now have a clear idea of my program, what will be my job in the future and what am I supposed to do in my job...
The lecture ended at exactly 12...
We were feeling hungry so we ate lunch first before going to our next class...
Good thing, our professor was also late...
The subject is Analytical Techniques and it's a combination of lecture and laboratory...
We have to fit the 2 in 4 and a half hours...
We only had our orientation and our professor told us a lot of stories...
She showed us the equipments we're going to use and also the thesis of her previous students...
All of them were about nanotechnology and they were all amazing...
They were even presented in other countries and won awards...
I hope I can also do an amazing thesis like that in the future...
The class ended at 4:20 pm...
My last class is Principle of Semiconductor Devices which started at 4:30...
It's the first meeting with our professor so we only had orientation...
The course syllabus is not yet prepared so we still don't know what to study...
But our professor asked for our expectations so I think it went fine...
Our class was supposed to be until 9 pm but we were dismissed early at 6...
I was so tired yesterday so I wasn't able to update...
I'll be going to the church later...
Hopefully, we will have our dinner in a restaurant...
I still have to print my lab report for tomorrow...
And I don't want to go to school tomorrow...

A rainy day...
How come it's raining today but it's still hot?...
Today it's raining which is really rare...
I wonder if there's a typhoon...
Anyway, I have another lab report to do which is due on Monday...
It's about chemical kinetics which we did in our chemistry laboratory this morning...
My group mates' cooperation improved a bit...
But I'm still kinda pissed off with one of my group mates...
She keeps telling me to just tell her if I need something...
But when I ask her to do something, she keeps giving me the feeling that she doesn't want to...
I don't know if it's just me or it's what she really feels...
And besides she should just have the initiative to help since it's a group work...
By just reading the procedure, you'll know what to do...
It's not that complicated...
You don't have to ask me every time on what to do...
Sorry, complaining again...
We were the last group to finish the experiment but we were the first to go home...
And it's due to my fast computations...
When it comes to computations and problem solving, I'm pretty confident with my skills...
It's one of my strengths...
And as a result, we got a high score for our PDS...
It's even higher than the first experiment...
Even the other groups where asking for my help...
I was happy that they approached me cause I was able to converse with them...
I was also glad to be able to help others...
Yesterday was my mom's birthday...
Despite that, she wasn't feeling well...
She had headache and she feels like puking...
Maybe it's just the heat or her migraine...
My dad was planning to take us out for dinner...
But since she wasn't feeling well, I told him to just buy food...
Then, he bought chocolate cake, ice cream and palabok...
It was delicious...
Then, my brother also brought cake today...
I wonder what flavor it is...
That's it for today...
I'll start my lab report...

Today is...
Today is my mom's birthday...
She a year older again...
I haven't bought a gift for her yet although she already said that she wants a CD...
I'll try to buy it tomorrow...
My mom's a bit annoyed because she thought my dad forgot her birthday...
But my dad mailed me and said that he didn't forget...
He'll surprise my mom with cake and ice cream...
So now I'm keeping my mouth shut ^_^
I've finished my chemistry lab final report...
I'm now just waiting for my dad to come home coz I asked him to print it...
I don't have a printer...pity me...
But I'm glad I did a pretty good conclusion of my report...
Hope I'll get a high grade...
And by the way, I don't have class again today...
Yesterday, I was chatting with my new friend Potchi and she mentioned about our school having an exchange program with Waseda University...
Right now, I'm checking it out in the net and it's true...
I really want to study abroad...
Tomorrow, I'll confirm it in our school and ask for more details...
I'm planning to apply for it...
Hope it's still on-going...
I still haven't started my research paper...
It's the third day and I still don't know where to start and what to write...
I know I'll be fine but at the back of my mind, I'm starting to panic...
I don't know what's gotten to me but I really really want to write an excellent paper about this...
Someone, please help me in this...

Trying to be busy...
I don't have class again but I went to school...
I have to get the preliminary data sheet of our experiment last Monday coz without it I won't be able to do the final report...
Now that I think about it, I should just have waited for it last Monday...
I was being my stupid and lazy self again...
So I woke up today, ate breakfast, took a bath and went to school...
I arrived around 1230 pm...
Got the PDS from the group mate, photocopied it and went home...
I didn't even last 30 minutes in school...
It was so tiring, not to mention it's the middle of the day when the sun is burning...
Good thing, my bestfriend Kez waited for me...
Her class ended at 12 and she waited for me...
I was sooo happy...
Thank you so much...^_^
Yesterday, I was supposed to start my research paper...
So I searched the net for my topic...
I was so motivated to do it...
Then it came to me...
I can't understand a thing...
How am I supposed to write a paper about something I have no idea about...
Again being my stupid self...
I tried writing an outline first and I came up with something like an introduction...
But it was lousy...
Even I can't comprehend to it...
I'm also confused if leadframes and wafers are the same or just kinds of substrate...
Sorry for my babbling...You probably don't know what these are...
Anyway, I'll try asking my prof on Saturday about these...
Right now, I'm writing my conclusion for my chemistry laboratory final report...
I already have something in mind so I'll try my best writing it...
I also need to review my engineering lettering...
The data in our report form must be written in engineering lettering and it's been 4 years since I used that...
And I had painful experience regarding that...
I made new friends...
Trixie who's yna's former room mate and Potchi who is from the same school as me...
Yoroshiku ne...^_^
Forgot to mention that my class for tomorrow has been moved to Saturday...
Meaning...
I have class from 730 am to 12 nn, 12 nn to 430 pm and 430 pm to 9pm straight...
What's with this schedule?!
And all of them are lecture classes!!!

Just Hanging Around...
I don't have class today so I'm expecting to have a loooong and boooring day...
Well, not until I remembered I have to start writing my research paper...
I chose the topic Substrate in which I have no idea what is it...
The only thing I know is that it's used in Semiconductors...
I have a lot of research to do and not owning any material science books does not really help...
Good thing I already have internet at home...
The paper is due in 2 weeks so I really have to start thinking and writing about it...
But, I'm not going into hiatus and stop updating my blogs...
Especially when I have found new friends here in lj...
Thanks for replying in my comments and adding me too...
To my new friends ynaoblivious, shatterdayvinyl, roushen_yume, hotarumyst and kitty_in_a_pot...
It was really fun chatting with you...
That made me sooo happy yesterday...
Finally, I have friends whom I can talk about j-pop...
Let's get along well, ne?...
Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu...
Also, thanks to ynaoblivious for introducing to me the JE_philippines community...
Arigatou Gozaimasu...
I was hyper last night and I kept of thinking of crazy things...
Well, maybe for my friends at school cause I'm usually the quiet type...
I got this idea from hotarumyst...
Thanks for the idea...
My school friends have no idea abut NEWS so I wanted to try this...
I sent 3 of my friends a picture of Tegoshi and asked them what they think about him...
And all three of them said he was a GIRL...
I was laughing sooo hard...
Sorry for being rude...
They said he had such a pretty face...
That made my day...
I'll try my other friends next time...
Gotta start my research paper...

New friend...
Another day has ended...
Today was a usual day...
I had my chemistry laboratory class and we did an experiment about Solids and Liquids...
It was short and easy...
But finished it just before the bell rang...
How come an easy and short report took us 3 hours to finish?!
The only reason is that not everyone in the group are cooperating...
Sorry, I'm complaining again...Just need an outlet...
I'm not really happy with my group...
It's not that I don't like my members...
It more like I prefer smaller groups like 3 to 4 members only...
But in that class, we were 5 in the group...
The apparatus is limited and some members looks like they don't really care...
If they don't know what to do or what they're supposed to do...
Just get out of the way...
Move somewhere where you're not blocking the paths of those that are busy...
Don't pretend that you're interested and keep pestering me with questions...
Don't ask every minute if the experiment is finished...
Just wait...
For the members of other groups...
Don't come and ask stupid questions...
Everything is in the manual...
And our professor already explained where to get the values for the calculations...
It's tiring to answer the same questions over and over again...
It's really annoying especially the very simple ones that uses only common sense...
Besides, I'm also busy about our own experiment...
Sorry for being mean today...
Just had a hard day...
On the bright side, I found a new friend...ynaoblivious
Thank you for adding me too...
I was so happy when you replied to my post...
And where from the same country not to mention our schools are very near each other...
Hope to get along well with you...

Something to work hard for and look forward to...
As I said yesterday, I have two classes today...
From 730 am to 430 pm...
My classmates and I decided yesterday that were coming to school late...
And it was a BAD idea...
My classmate Matthew was the first one to arrive at school around 830 am...
By that time, I was just leaving my home...
I arrived at school around 9...
It was only the two of us...
We're expecting that we were 8 to 9 in class...
We waited for a few minutes until we decided to ask if our professor has arrived...
It turns out that our professor is waiting in a different room!!!
It's his first time teaching in our school and doesn't know the policies yet so he went early...
He was already there at 6:55 am...
I feel guilty...
It was his first time and his first day in our school and we kept him waiting...
However, it's only the first meeting and he was so nice so we're forgiven...
I'll be careful with time starting next week...
The subject is interesting so I think I won't feel lazy waking up at 5 am and going to class...
For my afternoon class, my professor did not arrived...
Although she was there in the morning...
The other professors said she was at the laboratory, some said she was at the graduate school...
I don't which is true...
Just one thing is clear, she did not come to our class...
My other classmates went home but I stayed behind...
I was supposed to add one more subject but the network in our school is down...
I was frustrated...
It took me a week to find a professor because adding subjects needs to be approved first...
And when I finally got approved, the network is down!...
Good thing, revision of load is until Wednesday next week and the schedule of that subject is Thursday...
Just have to wait till next week...
Despite all these mishaps, I learned about one great thing today...
I finally found a way to go to Japan...
Our professor in the morning, Dr. Camacho had his masters degree in Tohoku University in Sendai, Japan...
I instantly asked him how did he get there...
So he explained everything...
The Japanese embassy here in the Philippines is offering different scholarships...
No fees are needed and no entrance exams...
Only the application form...
By the time, the student arrives there, everything is provided...
From the apartment, allowance, japanese language lessons for 6 months...
Everything is for free...
It's like you're being paid to study there...
No contracts to be signed, no limitations, you can even get part time jobs while studying...
If you already have contacted a professor, it makes the application easier...
Our professor also gave us techniques to get through...
He also said that in just a year, you'll be able to build a house here in Manila just from the allowance you've saved...
For me, it's an all in one package...
I'll be able to go to my dream country Japan...
I've always wanted to go there but we don't have the money for that luxury...
I'll be able to ride in an airplane...
In the 20 years that I have lived, I haven't rode one...
I'll be able to live alone and learn to be independent...
Since I was in elementary I've always been with my parents...
I haven't experienced living apart from them...
I'll be able to continue with my studies...
Education in Japan is excellent especially research...
They have all the materials and technology needed...
For my field of studies which is Material Science major in Semiconductors, a lot of job opportunities are there so it would be easier to look for a job...
Lastly, I'll be able to see snow and cherry blossoms...
Good thing I'm good at st my studies and my grades are high...
I'll think I'll be able to do it...
This is the first time in my life that I really wanted to do something...
First time that I have the motivation to do something...
First time that I really want to work hard to achieve a goal...
First time that I have something to look forward to...
I'll study really hard to improve my grades more...
And I'll be always looking forward to the day that I'll be able to fulfill this dream...

Copying is a bad habit...
Today, I had my chemistry laboratory class...
We only had lecture and exercises in calorimetry...
While answering the exercises, our professor went out of the room...
Of course, I already know what that means...
Some of my classmates are copying my answers...
It's only an exercise and since we're allowed to open our notes, I also allowed them to copy my answers...
I'm not looking down at them...
But, the problems were exactly the same as the examples given by our professor...
Same word problem except for the values, same equations to be used, same procedure...
And yet they still need to copy from their classmate...
It's either they were not paying attention to the discussion, did not understand the lecture, not interested or just TOO lazy to think...
I'm not trying to be such a goody...
It's just that there are limits to my patience...
If it's just an exercise or seat work, I let them copy my work...
However, when it comes to exams and quizzes...
I NEVER let anyone copy my answers...
I study really hard for them in order to get good results and I'm not such a nice person to share my hard work to others...
Tomorrow, my class is supposed to be from 730 am to 430 pm straight...
No breaks...
But tomorrow is only the first day and we'll only having orientation...
Actually, I'm not expecting our professors will come...
So my classmates and I decided to come to class around 9 am...
We'll be late...
Oh, I almost forgot...
Today, the usual one hour trip from school to our house took me 2 looooong hours...
It was sooo hot and I'm dripping from sweat...
The train was so packed...
I was only able to ride the train after 5 of them have already passed...
I waited for almost an hour...
My feet were hurting that I can barely walk...
My hair that was already dry was once again wet with perspiration when I got home...
I was so tired...
And this is going to be my experience every Monday and Friday...
Good luck to me...

Yet Another Day...
Another non-fruitful day...
A long morning of waiting for nothing...
As usual, I woke u early today for my 9 am class...
But when I arrived at school, no one was in our department...
Rather, it was still locked complete with chains...
It's already past 9 and still no professors to be found...
It's the third day this has happened...
What the hell's wrong with our department?!...
It seems that our professors doesn't have motivation to teach...
Rather we don't have professors to teach us...
Some of my friends will not be going to class tomorrow...
They had enough...
As for me, I have to go to school because I have other classes...
To Ma'am Jonie and Sir Deo:
Please come to school or at least reply to our mails...

Rather we don't have professors to teach us...
Some of my friends will not be going to class tomorrow...
They had enough...
As for me, I have to go to school because I have other classes...
To Ma'am Jonie and Sir Deo:
Please come to school or at least reply to our mails...

A Tiring Day...
Phew...
Just got home from the mall with my family...
I don't have class to day because it is a holiday...the end of Ramadan...
I can't believe we where at the mall for 6 hours...
Our television set in the living room broke down about 2 weeks ago...
So my dad decided to just buy a new one...
I don't know what's gotten into him because he's usually stingy...
When we got to the mall, I immediately found out why he wanted to buy a new tv...
It is a 29 inch JVC television with free DVD player and tv rack only for 17 000 pesos...
It was such a nice television and the freebies...
We also bought a wedding gift for my childhood friend...
Her wedding is on October 20 in Baguio City...
My parents will be godparents and I will be a bridesmaid...
The gift we bought is a electric oven with stove...
My mom also asked my dad t buy her the exercise machine she's been wanting for ages...
I can't believe we spent 5 hours buying this appliances...
I was so hungry and tired...
Without hesitation, I asked my dad where we are going to eat...
Luckily, he let me chose where...
I wanted to eat pasta so we went to Old Spaghetti House to eat...
I stuffed myself with pasta, pizza and my favorite strawberry milkshake...
It was a tiring day but it was fun...
Tomorrow is another school day...
I'm kinda worried about going to school...
My class is at 9 am so I leave the house around 730...
During this time, the train is packed so I'm having a hard time riding it, not to mention it is SOOO hot...
Well, I'll just try to wake up a bit earlier...
