I passed everything...

I seriously thought I was gonna fail
But I managed to pass everything


I've been worrying about my subjects last term
cause I got really low scores in quizzes
I've already accepted that I'd fail in analytical chemistry lec
but near the end of the term, it gave me some hope
my final grades for the 3rd term are:
CHM110 2.75
CHM200L 2.75
MEC203 2.50
MSE114 2.25
Gen. Weighted Average 2.56

I'm totally satisfied with my grades
I was expecting get 3.00 for all my subjects
but that did not happen
I guess I was lucky ^_^


My dad arrived yesterday afternoon from Singapore
He bought a cute little red bag for my mom but nothing for me
at least he came back home safe
anyway, we went out for dinner
we ate in a chinese restaurant called Emerald Palace
we ordered camaron rebosado, fish lips soup, pancit canton, sweet and sour fish fillet, spareribs in salt and pepper and vegetables
the food was sooo delicious
after the meal, we went to seaside boulevard behind SM Mall of Asia
we just walked there while chatting
then we ate ice cream and went home tired
it was really a fun time with my family


since classes are over, I don't have much to talk about
I have a one month vacation
and I'm still thinking how to spend it
I'm planning an overnight swimming right now with my friends
we haven't decided who's going and where it will be held
so organizing is taking quite a time
well, what's important is we enjoy ourselves since some of them are graduating already and this will be their last outing

I think it'll be releases 29th of April
all I've been doing recently is watch anime and Arashi videos
I'm getting into the Arashi fandom ^_^

It's Valentine's Day...

Happy Valentine's Day ^_^

Today is heart's day and I don't have a date...Or so I thought...

I started my day with the usual going to school routine...
Woke up early in the morning, ate breakfast, took a bath, changed clothes then off to school...
Since it's Saturday, my parents drove me to school...
I thought I was already late because my cellphone alarm did not go off...
So I was 30 minutes behind schedule...
My class starts at 7 30 and I arrived at 7 45...
Luckily, as soon as I arrived in the 4th floor where my room is, the faculty room door flung open and my professor came out from it...
I made it in time!!! Yatta!!!
So we did the experiment, had a little discussion and our professor let us take home our reports...
She said since it's Valentine's day, we should go home early...
She wants to go home early too because according to her, she still has to do the laundry...
And so we finished early and went home early...
Well, at least THEY went home early...
I still have a class at 4 30 pm so I had to stay behind...

It has been a routine for me and my friends, Kat and Kez, to meet every Saturday and have lunch...
Unfortunately, today, Kez could not come...
Apparently, she has plans with her sibling (really?!)...
So it was only me and Kat...
BUT...
Two of our friends had make up class this morning and they're also in school...
So we waited for them to finish their class and grabbed some lunch in SM Manila...
Those two were Allan and Shid, by the way...
The 4 of us ate at Tokyo Tokyo and had really nice conversations...
I especially enjoyed the American Idol one...hehe
It's been a long time since we went out like that because of our busy schedules...
And I'm really glad we got to do it again...
After lunch, we went to see a movie...
We watched PUSH starring Chris Evans, Dakota Fanning and Camilla Belle...
It was a nice movie...
I really enjoyed it...
It was so packed that it felt like the movie was so long despite it being only 2 hours...
After the movie, we decided to stroll the mall since we don't want to go home yet and my parents hasn't arrived (they're going to pick me up)...
We ate sundae (care of Kat) as we walk around the mall...
After a long and fun day, we separated ways...
Since, we're pass by Shid's place on the way home, he went with us and dropped him at his place...
Kat and Allan also went home...
In case you're wondering why I spend the whole afternoon at the mall, my 430 class got canceled...
A seminar is going on in our seminar room and our professor told us to there...
(my classmate informed me of this through mail)
And since I'm already at the mall, I have no intention of having a 15 minute walk from the mall to school just to attend a seminar that is totally not related to what I'm studying in my program...


Since it's Valentine's day, I teased my dad a bit about eating dinner out...
He complied with my sweet request and we ate at a local restaurant near our home...
The food was really delicious...
I can't wait to eat that I burned my tongue...
Until now, it still kinda hurts...
Me and my parents chatted a bit while waiting for the food...
Which was pretty rare in our family...
We don't really talk to each other much...
My mom even complains that when we're at home, we act like strangers...
We just do what we want and not notice each other...
The only time we really talk is when we eat out...
It's the only bonding our family have...
Oh, it's not the whole family...
It's just the 3 of us...
My two elder brothers don't go with us anymore...
Anyway, I'm glad I got to spend some time with my parents...

Well, today's valentine's day...
I've got nothing planned...
I have no boyfriend which means no date...
But it turns out, I was wrong...
I had two special dates...
One with my friends Kat, Shid and Allan...
And the other one with my beloved parents...
Thank you so much for keeping me happy today ^_^

Now, on to the fandoms...
Lately, I've been so into Yamapi...
Though Tegoshi still remains my ichiban...
Yamapi has moved from an undetermined spot to my niban...
I wonder why he hasn't caught my attention till lately...
Now I've realized how good an actor he is and amusing he is as a person...
I'm feel kinda sad that he doesn't have any new projects yet...
But also happy at the same time that he's getting well deserved rest...

The Day of Change...

OMG, I freaking look lika Toda Erika...Well, at least the hair...I swear I seriously did not intend it to look like hers...But for some reason it became like this...

I've been asking my mom since December to go to the salon with me...I wanted a change so I decide to have my hair colored...But since it's vacation and I won't be going out much, she said it's just a waste and rescheduled our trip for the first week of January, the start of my classes...

Come first week of January...I had problems with my schedule plus my laziness so we weren't able to go...Friday last week (23rd of January), my mom asked me if I wanted to go to the salon...But my brother said to go the next week (which was last Friday, 30th of January) so we could all go together and he'll pay for it...

Come last Friday...For the past month, I have wanted to color my hair for the first time...But I noticed that as it grows longer, the tips are becoming wavy...So I thought maybe I should just have it curled...My mom asked me what I wanted to do with it so I said I want it curled and colored...But she said no...Too much chemicals will ruin my hair...So I just put off the idea of coloring it...Coloring my hair might ruin it more than curling it anyway...So we went to the salon and had it curled...Oh and I also wanted to try having long bangs...So the stylist cut some of my hair up to the level of my mouth...The length of my hair is until half of my back by the way...And then she started putting my hair into curlers...It took about 3 hours to finish...I was so sleepy but fought it...When it was done, it wasn't what I expected...Actually, I was expecting big curls just like Goldilocks'...But for some reason it looks exactly like Toda Erica's hair in Code Blue...Well, I don't hate it...I actually love it...Surprisingly, it suits me...^_^ At least that's what I think...My mom isn't satisfied with it though...She thinks it's not curly enough...As for the bangs, the stylist suggested that shower/chinese bangs suits my curly hair better...So I went for it and had her cut it to the level of my eyes...And here I am having curly hair and shower/chinese bangs...

I went to school this morning feeling excited and confident because of my new hair...I got different comments but I think they all liked it...My first classmate that saw me asked if I did not bathed...I really don't get why he said that...Is it because it looks like I didn't comb my hair???...
I really don't know and I did not bothered to ask (the truth is I didn't comb it, the stylist said not to, to maintain the curls)...One of my classmates said I look pretty...Wow...It's the first time someone actually said that to me (I don't know if he's serious or he's just fooling around, somehow it made me happy either way)...Here are the other comments:

Kat: Koreana ka ba??? (Are you Korean???)
Kat: Bagay naman sayo ah...(It suits you)
Mat: Wow...Kulot...Ayos ah...Bagay sayo...(Wow...Curly...Good...It suits you...)
Kuya Evan (jokingly): Di ka naligo no? (You did not take a bath???...just because I did not comb my hair and it looks shiny doesn't mean I didn't took a bath)

In short, for the first time in my 20 years, I changed my hairstyle and it seems everyone has accepted it...

This morning I had lab class...Our professor was absent but she left us the experiment to do...It was easy and short so around 10 am, we're already finished...My friend Kat was also finished with her class and since it's still early and my next class is at 430 pm, we went to watch a movie again...This time, we watched Ink Heart...It was a good movie...Almost made me cry when the family was reunited at the end but of course I held back my tears...It would be too embarrassing...After the movie, we went to supermarket to buy something and parted ways...Kat went home and I went back to school for my class...Oh and we went to KFC for lunch before the movie anyway...Just want to tell you...

Real Life Happenings:

• I changed my hairstyle...
• I had my first quiz last Friday in Analytical Chemistry and I know I totally failed...It was hard...The fact that I did not study much didn't made any help...I'll just do better next time...
• I got 84/100 for my first experiment in Analytical Chemistry lab...
• Also had my first quiz in dynamics...It was open notes...Not sure how I did though...
• My eldest brother has a new job...He's in Emerson now and he has nothing else to do but to respond and send e-mails...He sure has a lot of free time at work so he just surfs the net and still gets the same salary as his previous one (he used to work in a call center)...
• In their sports competiton in the company, he won silver for 4 x 50 m relay and bronze for 25 m breastroke in swimming...It looks like after all these years, he's still good at swimming...He was in the varsity swimming team in his university...
• I officially started a food and exercise diary...With my hair done now, I'll definitely lose weight...
  
• My internet connection is still very slow...
• My friend Kat send me the books Ink Heart, Ink Spell and Ink Death...I'll start reading it whenever I feel like reading...
  
• I envy those who have lost of comments on their journal...No one's commenting on mine anymore...I wonder why that is...Am I THAT boring and unlikeable???...I feel lonely...

To end this post, I have a very random story from last week...Last Sunday, we went to church and I was wearing white shorts and a checkered orange/green blouse...My brother (second eldest) said that I look like a melon and my dad seconded it...They keep on saying that until we left...So in retailiation, when he went to work wearing a bright orange sort of cloak blouse (sorry for the random description), I told hime he looks like a bubble gum and our housekeeper said he looks like orange flavored candy...hahahahahaha Wow...our family really looks like FOOD...

Foundation Week...Like I Care...

Mapua's foundation week opened last Thursday and lasted till Saturday...I really don't what happened because I wasn't in school...I don't have class every Thursdays...By Friday, I only have one class from 730 to 1030 am...Our professor dismissed us early, around 930, for us to enjoy the food stalls, game booths of the different organizations, exhibits and contests...But I, being the lazy student that I am, went straight home...It will just be pointless if I wander around campus alone right???...My friends have their regular classes later in the day so even if I stayed, I'll just feel lonely...And that's how I celebrated Mapua's day...At home with my laptop and slow internet connection...

Comes Saturday...I woke up early at 5 am coz I have a 730 am laboratory class...Unfortunately, we're out of gas since Tuesday so I've been going to school for the past few days without proper breakfast...I've just been eating a banana and chocolate milk drink...But not in Saturday...I have a 4 and half hour lab class and I will NOT and CANNOT endure hunger...So I settled for a cold rice and cold corned beef...I really just had to eat something or rather a proper breakfast...Skipping all preparations to go to school...I arrived at school early...We're only six in class and I was the first to arrive...And then my classmates started arrived one by one, also my professor and the lab assistant, did the laboratory experiment with my partner, had a long quiz, finished the experiment and left school to eat lunch...

Speaking of the experiment, our class was supposed to be up to 12 noon only...Did you know what time we finished???...We finished at 130 in the afternoon!!!...And did you know what time I had my breakfast???...I had it at 5 am...You get what I mean right???...At 130 pm, I was SOOO damn hungry...I haven't eaten or drank anything for 8 and a half hours!!!...And it's because of that long, tiring, exhausting and enjoyable experiment...We had to prepare our own chemicals with the proper concentrations so we had to do titrations which took a lot of time...I did not expect that I would enjoy the class...First, there were only six students in the class including me...Second, it's so early in the morning at 730 am...Third, the class is too long, 4 and a half hours (but it turned out that this wasn't enough)...Lastly, we had to work in pairs and I always get the laziest in my groups, thanks to my luck (refer to my previous posts for this)...But not this time...My lab partner is nice and helpful...We divide the work and he consults me with the results...This laboratory class is something I will look forward every week...

As I said above, my lab class ended at 130...I'm really grateful that my friends had the patience and waited me for hours...Kat's class ended at 9 am and she really waited for me so that we could have lunch together...The same with my bestfriend Keziah...Her class starts at 3 pm but she went to school earlier so that she could have lunch with us...Also the lovers, Paul and Toni...Thank you so much for waiting for me even though you were so hungry...I'm really happy that I have friends like you ^_^

During Saturdays, I have two classes...My first class is from 730 am to 12 noon...The next one is from 430 pm to 730 pm...But last Saturday, around 9 am, my classmate Matthew for the 430 class mailed me that we won't meet in class...It looks like our professor is sick and can't come to school...So guess what I did with my free time...Of course, my favorite past time...WATCHING MOVIEs...We were supposed to watch the movie during my break at 12 nn to 430 pm...However, we had to overtime in my morning class...And I'm glad that my 430 pm prof is absent so I had time in my hands...I really got lucky last Saturday...So after eating lunch with Paul, Toni, Kat and Keziah, the lovers went into the internet cafe, Keziah had a 3 pm class so she couldn't go to the movies anymore and went back to school...So Kat and I were left...Actually, watching this movie has been already scheduled beforehand...Allan and Shid were also supposed to go with us...Unfortunately, they had to finish their feasibility studies research that day...Kat and I went to SM Manila and watched Underworld: Rise of the Lycans...It was a good movie...But I did not enjoyed it as much as the first 2 Underworld movies...One of the things I was looking forward to was Kate Beckinsale's participation in the movie...I read somewhere that she will be opening and closing the movie...I was excited to see how they will do it since the movie was a prequel of the first 2 and that her character will not fit into the storyline...But after watching it, she really DID open and close the movie...The opening of the movie was a narration by her on how the lycans came to life and a little of Lucian's background...The closing of the movie is also her narration about the war continuing through ages while on the screen, the first scene of the first Underworld movie is shown, the one wherein she was seating on a balcony, in her death dealer outfit and dripping rain from her fingers and hair, ready to jump from a height of who knows how high...The movie did not disappoint me...At first, I thought they were going to change some scenes but they stayed true to the novel...Oh wait...I haven't told you that I have the prequel novel of Underworld since ages ago...When the first Underworld movie was shown, I became addicted to it...So I saw a novelization of the movie, bought it and read it...Then I also saw the prequel novel, bought it and read it...So before I watched Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, I already know how the war started and Sonja was sentenced to die under the sunlight...So there, maybe I'll post a comparison of the movie and the book some other day if I don't feel too lazy...After the movie, we went to Greenwich to buy food for my mom (I mailed my parents to fetch me in the mall and my mom asked me to buy her pizza)...Then we went to the supermarket because Kat had to buy something...On the way out, guess who we bumped into...It's Allan and Shid, the very two people who were supposed to go with us...Apparently, they finished with their day's work the same time we finished the movie...They only went there because Allan paid their electric bills and I think Shid had to buy something...So we chatted a bit and I gave Allan our present, a poster of the Underworld movie...The cinema had a promo of buy 2 tickets, free poster...After a while , we parted ways...I went home with my parents and Kat looked for cake for her mom's birthday...Kat, thanks for watching it with me...Till next time...Allan, Shid and Keziah, too bad you weren't able to come...The movie was really good...Don't worry...There's still gonna be a next time...

I'm now an official Show/Alan Luo fan...He's the guy lead in Corner with Love which is currently airing in GMA 7 weekday afternoons opposite Barbie Hsu...He was also part of Hot Shot which was aired in Abs-Cbn 2 last year, around December I think..He's so nice and kind to his fans...I amazed at how he treats his fans...He's humble and big-hearted...He's kind not only to his fans but to everyone he cares about...Here are some things that I found about him...

• He's dubbed as Asia's dancing king...In his song "Ge Zhong Qiang Shou" also known as "Hot Shot" which is the opening of his idol drama with the same title, he performs his new dance move called "Shadow Legs" which has 128 moves in 20 seconds, that is 6.4 movements in a second...I also noticed that his dancing is effortless...He doesn't want to be called a king though...He said he's just a guy who loves to dance...
• He always gives his mom a birthday present every year and puts it in a LV bag...
• Last year, he gave his mom $5, 000, 000 and a very big birthday card with his innermost feelings...
• His father died from illness...
• Upon learning tha he has a fan who has spinocerebellar atrophy (yes, you read it right, the very same disease Aya has in 1 litre of tears), he immediately arranged a visit to her despite his packed schedule...

Went to School for nothing...

I woke up early this morning with the hopes that I'll still be able to add a subject...I woke up at 6 am, proceeded with my morning rituals and went to school...When I arrived in school, I proceeded to the registrar's office and asked if I could still add a subject...Unfortunately, the revision of load is already finished...Urgh...I went to school for nothing...I thought I'll still be able to add it because the subject just opened last Friday and by the time my "supposed to be" classmate mailed, I've already gone home...And last Saturday, no one was in the registrar's office...In the end, nothing came out with my trip to school...It was tiring...I did not even last 10 minutes in school...I did not even got the chance to sit down...As soon as I was rejected by the registrar, I went straight home...

I was supposed to go to SM megamall this afternoon to meet with my childhood friends, Ate Dimple and Ate Grace...However, Ate Grace did not make it to Manila, so it was rescheduled for tomorrow...I hope we'll be able to meet tomorrow...

I'm still in the middle of writing my super duper long New Year's post...Please look forward to it...

Been busy for the past few days...

Here's an update of what's happening in real life so far...

Friday, 19th of December...
I went to school to enroll for the next term...
The offices were only until 5 pm so I wasn't able to finish the process...
I had to go back the next day for the payment...
I was grateful that my friends, Keziah, Kat, Shid and Allan waited for me...
Then we went to SM Manila...
We first checked the cinema, what movies are shown and the time they'll be starting...
We decided to watch "Quarantine" through the time it will be starting which is in an hour and it's only movie playing that none of us have watched yet...
So we bought tickets for the 7:05 pm showing and went to grab lunch/dinner in one in Chowking...
Shid, Allan, Keziah and me ordered the salo-salo set meal while Kat ordered her own food...
We ate a lot...
We were so hungry cause we've been in school since lunch time and none of us ate lunch...
After eating there's still time so we just strolled the mall...
I bought a DVD set of the Harry Potter movies from 1 to 5...
After that, we bought snacks, popcorn and drinks and went to the cinema...
Around 8 pm, Keziah left because she has to go home already...
She did not finished the movie so she missed the ending...
It was a nice movie...
We kept screaming while watching...
This get together is to celebrate Keziah's birthday which was November 19th, Allan's birthday which was December 15th and Kat's upcoming birthday on December 30th...
After the movie, my dad called and said they'll pick me up...
Shid's home is on the way to our home so he went with us...
It's been a long time since me and my friends got together...
I had so much fun and I missed them so much...
After 4 years of being friends with each other, there are things that I realized in our group...
First, enrollment is the only time we really get together on a regular basis...
Second, during this time we ALWAYS end up eating in Chowking (this isn't on purpose)...
Third, all of us loves to watch movies in the cinema...
At least, there are things we ALL enjoy doing together...^_^

Saturday, 20th of December...
After lunch, I went to school with my parents to pay for my enrollment...
I'm an academic half-scholar this term, by the way, which I only have to pay half of my tuition fee...
But I never told my dad...
I have a pretty good reason to keep it from him although I really wanted to tell him...
After I paid, we went to Manila Ocean Park...
There wasn't a lot of people wo decided to enter...
My dad bought the Christmas Package ticket which includes the Glass Bottom Boat Ride and Fish Spa...
There are different kinds of fishes...
It was fun at first but became boring because the fishes became repetitive...
There's not much of variations...
Oh well, at least we were able to enter the facility...
Then we went home to eat dinner...
After dinner, we went to the grocery to buy our weekly supplies and the food for Noche Buena...
At first, I really did not want to go with my parents because I was already tired...
But I got worried because they might buy the wrong ingredients for our Noche Buena in which I'll be the one who will cook and prepare, so I went with them...
Luckily, we were able to buy everything I need...

Sunday, 21st of December...
We attended mass at 3:30 pm...
Our maid is going home to the province for 4 days so we drove her to the bus terminal...
She immediately found a ticket and boarded the bus...
She said she'll come back and I really do hope she comes back...
We're the same age and I like her...
After that we went to the mall, Robinsons Pioneer...
I was supposed to buy my brother an MP3 player but it turned out to be expensive...
So I dropped the idea...
In the end, I wasn't able to buy anything...
We just ate in Old Spahgetti House for dinner...
At least, I came out full from the mall...

Monday (today), 22nd of December...
My mom woke me up because we agreed to go buy gifts for Christmas...
First, we went to the bank to deposit money...
Goint to the salon was also ony my schedule today...
I was planning to get my hair colored and permed but my mom said it will take more than an hour...
Besides, I don't go out much anyway so we rescheduled it on January 2...
After the bank, we went to the mall...
We ate lunch first in Chowking again...
Then, we bought presents for the whole family...
I invited my cousin to spend the Christmas eve with us and they will, so I also bought presents for them...
I'll tell you what I bought for them after Christmas...
When we got home, I wrapped them in gift wrappers and put them under the Christmas tree...
So now, our tree is overflowing with gifts...

So I answered yes and invited her to sit beside me...
From that point on, we've always been together...
She would wait for me in the underpass and we walk to school together...

Even if we're not classmates anymore in the next terms, we still wait for each other and go home together...
Even after I changed my major, we're still friends and see each other...
Until now, after 4 years, we're still together...

I think it was around 2nd year college when we started calling each other bez...
Before we noticed it, we've already become best friends...
I'm so lucky to have her because she's always at my side and supports me in everything I do...

Asking me for help in a subject I don't know + Horror Story part 2...

On to the happy and scary(?) post...

After my very exhausting class, I still stayed at school...
I need the signature of our subject chairperson for the LCD projector borrower's application...
Also, Matthew asked for help in his thermodynamics class...
Good thing, my bestfriend Keziah was with me...
The subject chair still has her class and Matthew is stuck in traffic...
So really no choice but to wait...

It's been weeks since me and Keziah saw each other...
We updated what's happening in our lives and had a great time...
I just realized today that the release of News' Color Album and Keziah's birthday is ON THE SAME DAY...
I've been busy lately that I didn't noticed that...
I asked my bez, as what we call each other, what she wants about a few nights ago and she said nothing...
But a little later, she said she wants to watch Twilight...
And so, we're going to treat her in the day we watch it...
Ummm...maybe next week...
It's kinda hard for the group to gather because we have different schedules...
But for my bez' birthday, we'll try our best ^_^
For the baby of the group, we'll make it a happy and enjoyable day...

The other night, I got to talk to Cis and Allan on yahoo messenger...
We haven't seen Cis for ages and we've been looking for him...
Finally, he told us where he is...
He's in their province, Pampanga and he has dropped from school AGAIN!
He is now working on their fishpond...
He wants to go back to school because he realized that working is so hard and staying in the province is TOO boring...
He misses us and the life in the city...

Back to the main topic, a while later Matthew arrived...
He was asking me to help me with his home work in thermodynamics...
I though it's something that was discussed before in lower chem subjects...
Something about balancing equations...
Balancing chemical equations is easy so I said yes...
But when I saw the other examples, how come there are charged electrons in the equation...
I haven't encountered it in my previous subjects...
I tried understanding it but I can't...
Matthew kept on cheering me that I can do it because I'm good at those things...
But I really can't...
How am I supposed to understand a topic that I have yet to learn and that even the student himself can't understand?!
Oh, Matthew, I'm not that smart...
There are things that I can't do...
Well, at least not yet...Sorry...

I gave him my theories on where the charged electrons come from...
But we eventually gave up...
It's now all up to YOU...
So I just asked him to continue his series of scary stories...
Right in the middle of the story telling, I felt something on my right side...
When I looked, bez was snuggling on me...
She was getting scared...
It was so cute...hahahahaha

The story goes like this...
Warning: It's not that scary at all and there's no punch line or anything...

A woman went on a vacation and checked-in in hotel. On her first night, she can't sleep because she could hear noises from the room beside hers. She could feel the floor shaking like someone's been jumping up and down. The next day, she complained on the front desk about it. But the hotel staff told he that there's no such thing. And so she continued with her vacation. After lunch, she wanted to take a nap so she went to her room. Again, she could hear noises coming from the other side of the wall. Even after asking the hotel staff about it, the noises still continued so she decided to check it out herself. She stood at the front door of the room and listened first. The noises still continued. She found a key hole below the door knob and she peeked inside the room. From the hole, she could see a normal hotel room with bed, tables and everything. There's just one thing that bothered her. She could also see a girl with reddish eyes jumping up and down on the bed. It looks like the girl is having fun playing with the bed and disturbing other people. The woman thought, "they said there's no such thing, how come there's a girl in there?". Then,a room service employee passed by the woman and asked her if there's anything wrong. The woman said that the girl who is staying in that room is disturbing her and she can't rest well. The employee said it's impossible because that room has been locked for years and is not available for use. She decided to just ignore everything and have a nice nap. Come night time, when it's time for a good night's sleep, she can hear noises again. For one last time, she went to the other to check it out. She peeked into the hole and saw nothing but the color red. She just kept looking at it, then noticed that it's moving farther and farther away from the hole. Then, she realized that she's not looking at the color red anymore but a girl's pale face with blood shot red eyes looking straight at her. After that, the woman lost consciousness. She learned the story about that room the next day when she was about to check out. In that room, a girl has been raped and killed. It's also said that the murderers took out her eyeballs and that's the reason for the blood shot red eyes.

On the Way Home...

Yesterday on our class, I was the last one to went out of the room...
They though I'm scared of the dark so they played a little prank on me...
Our class were the only one left in the building...
They switched off the light and started making weird sounds, calling my name in ghostly voices...
Too bad, I'm not scared of the dark nor of ghosts...
I don't have the ability to see nor feel them...
I want to experience it though...
Don-don was so nice that he waited for me at the door of the room and made sure nothing and no one was left behind...

On the way to the gate, Matthew suddenly started talking about horror stories...
He said he has a lot of them...
So he started telling it to us...
My parents are already waiting outside so he has to make it quick...
The story goes like this...

There is a couple that can't have a child...
So they went to Obando, danced and wished for a child...
Then they went to a fortune teller...
the fortune teller said that they'll be having their first child soon...
She's going to be a white, pretty and smart girl...
When the mother gave birth...
The daughter was nothing like they expected...
The complete opposite of the description the fortune teller gave...
Still, the couple spoiled their child, gave everything she wants...
And on her 3rd birthday, the father asked what she wants...
The daughter said she wanted to go to Baguio City...
Baguio City is on top of a mountain so the road to travel is dangerous...
On the way there, the daughter said she wanted to pee...
There's no gasoline station nor toilets nearby...
So she settled peeing on the side road...
While peeing, the mother pushed her daughter and fell on the cliff...
The daughter died and was forgotten...
Soon after, the couple had another daughter which is white, pretty and smart...
The finally had the daughter they wanted...
On her 3rd birthday, the dad asked her what she wants...
The daughter said she wanted to go to Baguio City...
The same as their first daughter...
Despite their hesitation, they still went and the same thing happened...
The daughter wanted to pee at the same place their first daughter died...
But this time the daughter has something to say to her mother...
The daughter said, "Mom, don't push me again, ok?"...

Hai, the end...
It was predictable to me...
As soon as Matthew said they had their second daughter...
I've already guessed the ending and it turned out I was right...
Maybe I've heard that story somewhere...

I'm not scared of real ghosts and I love horror stories...
But I'm a scaredy cat when it comes to human made horror houses...
I don't know why...
Maybe real life humans are scarier than the dead ones...

Anyway, when we went out of the gate...
I immediately saw my parents...
They were having a date at the walls in front of my school...
Hahaha...They look like teenagers, walking around the walls...
Well, I'm happy they're getting along well ^_^

Also, looks like my brothers are getting along well now...
My eldest brother, Ray, asked my other brother, Lan, to help him with his model who's going to join a beauty contest...
My brother, Ray, is attending a party so he won't be able to accompany his model, so he asked Kuya Lan instead...
The good thing is they're not fighting anymore...
They used to fight a lot...
Oh, correct that one...
We used to fight a lot even about very small things...
Just being near each other is so irritating...
Kuya Lan even left the house June last year when they fought...

I hope my family stays like this forever...

Food Trip...

I ate a LOT yesterday that my stomach is started to feel bad when I got home...

Anyways, here's my day yesterday...
As usual, I had my whole day class from 730 am to 8 pm...

I was supposed to have a presentation in my first class which is semiconductor materials and processes...
But it was postponed...
I'm quite happy about it...
I was prepared but still a bit nervous...
Besides, while we were discussing the introduction about packaging, I found out that I made some mistakes in my research so I have to revise it...
I still have a week to prepare for it...
Aside from the presentation, we'll be having a role playing next meeting...
Our professor showed us one of the problems encountered during IC packaging...
It's a package wherein the substrate is folded, then a folding adhesive is put in between the molding compound and the substrate to keep them together...
(Sorry, maybe you don't have any idea what I'm talking about)
So the problem is the folding adhesive bloated and resulted into delamination...
The question is who's fault is it or which part of the process caused the delamination...
In short, what went wrong...
We were assigned roles to play like process engineers, molding process engineers, materials engineers, solder balls engineers, etc...
And I was given the role of team leader...
My classmates were fussing about why I got the easiest job...
That I didn't need to research about the problem...
Which is really not the case...
I have the hardest job...
I have to determine the real cause of the problem...
I have to combine all their thoughts and theories and resolve the problem...
They just don't get it...
The whole team is my responsibility...

For my second class, our professor arrived very late...
At last, we had a laboratory for the first time...
Unfortunately, the lab is so small that all 6 of us won't fit in it...
So, our professor split the class...
She asked for 3 persons who wants to do it first...
So me, Matthew and Dexter went...
The experiment is about producing nanofibers using electrospinning...
First, we prepared the materials...
The raw material is polycarbonate...
We dissolved it in a solvent which is dichloromethane...
There are only 2 available stirring rods so Dexter had to sit out the experiment...
After everything has been dissolved, a ceramic material called montmorillonite was put in it to become a composite material...
Then, the solution was put into a syringe and into the electrospinning equipment...
After, a high voltage was put into the syringe, nanofiber started spraying from the syringe...
And we managed to make nanofibers with 2 different ceramic material concentrations...
We were supposed to analyze the nanofibers using the Mic-D but there's no time left...
So we just have to continue next meeting...
That was the first time I had so much fun in that subject...
I'm looking forward to next week's experiment...

We extended 30 minute for the experiment so we were late for our next class...
Good thing our professor was cool with it...
We just had discussion which was so boring...
The only times we felt alive is when our professor is writing on the board and we're chatting behind his back...
I'll talk about those times later...
We had to finish two modules in that class because we have to catch up...
He was absent last meeting so we were already behind the schedule...
No matter how our professor explains, I can't understand and absorb anything...
I just pretended to listen while practicing hiragana at the back of my notes...
Our professor seemed to notice that we were already tired and hungry so he gave us a 15 minute break...
Just enough to buy food...
Then we went back to our room and finished the lecture by 8 pm...

Let's go the main topic which is food...
Like what I said earlier, I ate a lot...
In my first class, I bought a ham and cheese, and bacon and egg sandwich...
I was really feeling hungry that time so I bought two...
However, they had a promo of Buy 1 take 1...
In the end, I had 3 sandwiches, one ham and cheese, and 2 bacon and egg...
I ate two, one of each flavor, and kept the other bacon and egg sandwich...

For lunch, I ate beef teriyaki...
Our professor was late for our class so we decided to look at the food stalls in school...
It was the last day of the event and the last day for the food stalls...
I wanted to eat something sweet and cold, so I went for the ice monster booth...
It was expensive...
80 pesos for a small cup of crushed ice with some syrup?!
So we crossed it out in our choices...
And settled for the ice cream shop beside it...
I bought strawberry, double dutch and chocolate for just 30 pesos...
It was a locally made ice cream and it was delicious...
Not to mention cheap too...
The ice cream scoop was big too...
After eating ice cream, Lean asked if I want to try crispy chicken skin...
I haven't tasted it yet so we bought it...
It was delicious especially when dipped in the special vinegar sauce...
My mom is so gonna be mad if she knew I ate that...
It's bad for the health because it has a lot of cholesterol...
So let's keep it a secret, ne?^_^...
We shared it with the other guys and they liked it too...
So Christian bought another one and shared it with us too...
While eating that, Christian kept on ranting on how much he wants to eat shawarma but he's full already...
He keeps on going back and forth from where we're sitting and to the shawarma food stall...
If you want to eat it so badly, then just go and buy it!!!
In the end, he didn't bought it...

His simple dream was fulfilled when we had our break in our last class...
Christian, Matthew and Don-don bought shawarma...
It's already dinner time so I was hungry...
So I bought beef flavored rice in a box which fits 1 and a half cup of rice...
Me and Lean shared it but still didn't managed to finish it...
So I just took it home...

My parents arrived in school around 7 pm to pick me up...
So they waited for an hour cause we were dismissed around 8...
They haven't had their dinner yet so we ate at a chinese restaurant...
I ordered beef wanton noodles and sharksfin siomai...
Again, another big serving...

All in all, for the whole day...
I ate 2 sandwiches, beef teriyaki, 3 scoops of ice cream, 2 orders of crispy chicken skin, rice in a box, beef wanton noodles and sharksfin siomai...
Isn't that a lot?
I'm on a diet but I guess it can't be helped...
Saturdays is the only day I get to eat much...^_^

I also said earlier about how we chatted all day...
Don-don did not attended our first class so we were quiet...
Our professor for the second class is very late so we chatted a lot...
The topic was about drinks...
I don't know much about the drinks offered in bars cause I haven't bee there...
I 've only tastes the alcoholic drinks we have at home...
Speaking of bars, Don-don was talking about the time they went to a gay bar...
We were laughing so hard at his story...
He swore he's never going back in those kinds of places...

During our last class, we also had small chats...
There were two times we laughed so hard...
First, about the air conditon...
It suddenly stopped so we had the guard look at it...
When the guard arrived, he was holding 2 remote controls...
He kept on pushing the buttons on the first remote control and still nothing happened...
Our professor was kinda getting annoyed and the two of them started fighting about it...
When nothing still happened, the guard took out the second remote control, pushed a button and the air condition worked again...
WTH???!!!
They were even fighting for the first remote control which is not the right one!...
Their reactions were so funny...
We were laughing so hard that we can't stop...
The second time was when we were talking about Dexter...
I can't remember properly but Christian was talking about Dexter...
Then,I commented that Dexter even told us he was a hearthrob in his high school...
And we burst into laughing...
Dexter really likes to raise himself...

That was my day yesterday...
Another long post*sighs*
I hope you don't get tired of this kind of posts...
I just want to remember all the memories I had...

This is the part 2 of cute_maya's request...

They are my friends when I entered college..
We were block mates for a term...

First is my very first college friend and best friend, Keziah...
Although she's not the youngest in the group...
She's considered the baby because of her small stature...
She cries easily and she's so adorable...
I like looking out and taking care of her just like a baby sister...

Second is Toni...
We're not that close compared to Keziah but we get along well...
We've just started hanging out about a year ago when our break times are the same...
We would meet after our classes, eat lunch together and chat...

Third is Kat...
She's the one whom I hang out the most these days...
We always go to a movie, chat and window shop...
At first, I wasn't really fond of her...
I didn't like her attitude and character...
She has this "do what I want to do" attitude...
But as time passes by, I got to know her more...
And I started to like her...

Fourth is Jeck...
She's not in the picture because she wasn't able to join our trip...
She is the crazy one in the group...
I remember, when we first met here...
We though she was the quiet, shy type...
But later on her true colors showed...
She is so talkative and very cheerful...
She makes us laugh...

Fifth is Allan...
He's the smart and hard working one...
He's also thoughtful and responsible...
He would take care of us girls when we get together...
Out of my guy friends, he's the best one I like...
Actually, I have a slight crush on me and he knows that...
I admire how we takes care of his family and balances it with school...

Sixth is Shid, the smallest but the most handsome of the boys...
He is Allan's bestfriend...
They are always together...
He is the quiet one in the group...
But sometimes, he seeks too much attention that Allan gets annoyed...

Seventh is Nald...
Most of the time, he is quiet...
But there are times when he suddenly cracks a joke...
He's into badminton so much that he plays almost everyday...
He won't stop even if he's body hurts...
He tends to talk about serious things when alcohol gets into him...

Eighth is Paul...
He is the artist of the group...
He shifted from Computer Engineering to Multimedia Arts and Sciences which is really his interest...
He is really good and drawing and he also like designing clothes...
He likes romantic movies, a romanticist and loves his girl friend so much...
Which is also my good friend, Toni...

Last is Francis...
Out of all my guy friends, he's probably the one I'm closest with...
Although I haven't seen him for ages...
He's a very very lazy person when it comes to school...
He's been taking the same classes for 3 terms now...
He fails not because of his brain...
But because he does not go to class...
He's actually a smart person...
If only he would attend his classes, I'm sure he'll be able to pass...
He also loves to tease and make other people cry...

These are the people I usually hang out with...
I'm looking forward for another trip this coming summer...

Movie with Kat...

I hang out with my friend, Kat, today...
I don't have class so I waited for her to finish her class...
It's been a long time since we saw each other so I was quite excited...
We watched the movie "High School Musical 3"...
We were right on time for the 3:40 pm show...
We enjoyed the movie so much...
I'm really glad we watched it...

We were feeling hungry so we looked for a restaurant...
Kat wanted to eat in a "rice all you can" restaurant so we looked for the japanese restaurant called "Tokyo Tokyo"...
But we can't find it so we just settled with "Shakeys Pizza"...
Instead of rice, we ate pasta and pizza...

After eating, she said she wanted to buy a new pair of shoes...
So we went to the department store...
After looking around for a bit, she didn't like any of the shoes there...
And so we left...

Next, we went to the bookstore...
She found a book she liked so she bought it...
And then we went home...

I feel really happy seeing one of my friends in a long time...
We haven't hang out since last term because she got sick...
Being with my friends cheers me up...
